The GOval

The Granada Oval is a grass sports facility located just 6km from the center of Granada in Purchil.

The playing field can accommodate multiple sports including cricket, baseball and touch rugby. Development started in early 2020 with the first competitive matches played in April 2023. The land had been disused for decades leading to illegal dumping of construction waste. Great efforts have been made by our volunteers to restore the health of the land, removing waste, adding healthy soil and planting trees.
